Designing a bedroom could be a significant issue in re-designing your home. The problem might grow bigger if you have to do it for a child – a girl in particular. They collaborate a charming classic ambiance into a contemporary manner through a unique color scheme. This traditional master bedroom on a country estate exudes luxury. By combining different fabrics and textures on the corner arm chair, upholstered hand-carved bench and curved embroidered bed with one-of-a-kind bedding, the designer was able to create a space of comfort and solace. Rich silk draperies frame not only the beautiful view of the wooded acres beyond but also billow from the hand-carved gilded cornice above the bed to enhance the felling of being enveloped by exquisiteness. We recently went around plucking bedroom pictures. And while doing that we fell. Not literally, but fell in love with some of these gorgeous ones we came across. Each bedroom that is featured below has a different story to tell. One transforms you into the victorian era, another takes you on a stroll through the rooms of a house on some deserted street. Some are beautifully lit, some have got even the simplest blinds going for them. Some are design wise pretty dramatic while some subtle. One even has a swimming pool thrown in! Basically each is different from the other and we sort of love this design hotch potch. Hope you would too.

The Golf furniture collection from Italian design house Colombini has some spectacular modern themed bedroom designs. After gazing at these images you can’t but feel a sense of respect for the designers behind these gorgeous bedrooms. The colors have been blended to perfection, the placement meticulous, and there is a true sense of completeness in each one of them. The only down point, if at all, is that most of them still assume you have acres of space to play around with in your room. If only our rooms were as big as the ones they show in brochures!

Evinco Design recently pitched us with their new line of bedrooms designs. We took a look at their site and found many of them to be interesting. Majority of them portray a modern approach to bedroom design with fancy headboards, designer lighting and decorative accent pillows. The beds themselves act as ‘attention-grabbing’ agents in some of them. If you are planning to redo yours and looking for bedroom decorating ideas these pictures should inspire you.

In riding the coattails of our rustic dining rooms article, we wanted to shine some light on these beautiful bedrooms inspired by the same classic styles of Roche Bobois. Only this time the subtle and sophisticated take on modern classic decor is distinguished and gives us a glimpse of hope in making this beautiful era relative to our contemporary and multi-cultural lives.

Now, some of their furniture only appears ancient because of the antique aging process and hand-waxed lacquer finish but the detail in craftsmanship is undeniable so we won’t hold that against them. Using metallic fabrics and bold color in unexpected places while remaining true to the idiosyncratic fashion of the old world is simply a great combination for any period room. Wouldn’t it be grand to wake up in one of these royal-sized beds with the sun shining into your massive french windows as you examine the finishing touches of such flawlessly elaborate architecture and ponder the meaning of life?
